Well, it has been over a year since my last post and I must say looking back, there is so much that I am grateful for. Many situations happened during this time that have made me a better person both inside and out. This past year has allowed me to reflect on these instances and truly see them for what they really were...opportunities to expand my awareness of who I am, who I have become, and the possibilities of who I can be.
When you look back on any given space of time, the best thing to always have is gratitude. There could have been times that you felt so alive, joyful, and wonderful. You may also recall instances that were painful, difficult, where you felt that all was lost.
No matter what the circumstances, good or challenging, each one can be construed as spiritual testing. Testings are just what the word means...it is a test to see if you are truly moving forward to becoming a better person. When you are going through difficult times, the test is to see how you will handle it. Master Sha always says that there are 3 ways to respond to any situation, always choose the best one. Even when times are great, will your response be to forget your duties and just enjoy the moment, sit on your laurels and assume that the good times will never end, or will you use your blessings and frequency to help others who are on the other end of the spectrum.
I must be honest and say that I have experienced both. Sometimes my response was most appropriate and at other times I made unwise choices. The secret here is to recognize each response and learn from them. Let each "lesson" you receive be a teaching opportunity to better yourself. Be aware of the mistakes that you have made, ask for forgiveness, offer forgiveness, transform your actions. Remember the responses that were appropriate and instill them into becoming a part of your natural being.
As we come upon the New Year, I hope to remember each response I made, good or bad, and use those lessons to become someone who is always making the right choices in the future. By transforming my consciousness, then and only then can I hope to help others do the same.
Happy Holidays to All,
